Trina Reynolds-Tyler is the director of data with the Invisible Institute, a journalism production company on the South Side of Chicago that works to enhance the capacity of citizens to hold public institutions accountable. She co-founded the Chicago Chapter of Data 4 Black Lives, and is an organizer with BYP100 and the Black Abolitionist Network. Before receiving her Masters of Public Policy from the University of Chicago, she worked closely with the Citizens Police Data Project and the Youth / Police Project.
